Microsoft Mobile Email Applications to be replaced in May 2018 Archived

This change does not affect anyone already using Outlook for iOS or Outlook for Android.

Microsoft will be retiring the application Outlook Web App (OWA) for iPhone, iPad and Android in May 2018. ITS and Microsoft encourages current users of OWA to switch over to Outlook for iOS or Outlook for Android. As they provide the best way to experience Office 365 features on a mobile device.

How does this affect me?
In mid-April, OWA mobile apps will no longer be available for download in app stores and on May 15, 2018, existing OWA mobile apps will be retired and will stop working. Starting in April, users will be informed about the app’s retirement through an in-app message.

ITS has published links to tutorials for setting up email in the Outlook for iOS and Outlook for Android apps.

What do I need to do to prepare for this change?
Before May 15, 2018, we recommend that you install and use Outlook for iOS app or the Outlook for Android app.
