Outlook – Autodiscover Changes on February 21, 2023 Archived No-RSS

    This change will impact a minimal number of users. The information below provides guidance should a user in your unit be impacted.

    What is happening?

    The Queen's on-premise Microsoft Exchange Autodiscover service will be decommissioned on Tuesday, February 21. The Autodiscover service will continue to be hosted in Exchange Online.

    Clients who were previously configured to use on-premise Exchange settings will be unable to connect to Queen's email after the /autodiscover site removed February 21 at 9:30am. These users must remove their Queen's email account from their mail client and add it back again for their client to successfully connect.

    Users that may have been impacted by this change and require additional assistance to reconfigure their mail settings are encouraged to contact the IT Support Centre.
