The change to email filtering completed successfully. External email is now being delivered directly to Office 365, protected by our Exchange Online Protection System.

The Auto Discover record has also been updated to point outlook users directly to Office 365 for configuration.

On March 7th at 7am, there will be a change to how email is filtered and treated for spam before being received in Office 365 and Exchange On-Premises mailboxes. This is a non-disruptive change.

Also on March 7th, the Autodiscover record that is being used by Microsoft Outlook to determine the location of a user’s mailbox will be updated to point to Office 365. This change only affects the few mailboxes still located in Exchange On-Premises.

Both changes are being implemented to improve the reliability and security of Queen’s enterprise email service.
