Changes to HR groups overnight have affected some permissions Update Archived No-RSS

  • The Windows file share permissions have been fixed. Users who could not access folders on the share should log off and back into their computer to update the access.

    Applications using LDAP (Wiki, Notify Tool, etc) are still affected. Application owners will need to determine if roles/access lists need to be updated to allow ITS members access within the application.

    Previous Description (May 1, 2018 10:01):

    A change to the ITS - HR groups is causing issues for some people in ITS this morning. Access to some applications and resources are granted based on the old HR Active Directory groups.

    Services affected include:
    • File share
    • QShare
    • Wiki
    • Notify Tool

    IOPS is working on creating new AD groups that can be used for these services. If you are an application owner that is affected by this change, please notify the IT Support center.
