Emergency Reboot of Azure Local Virtualization Hosts Update Archived No-RSS

    Hosting has completed the restart of the Virtualization nodes. All services should be up and running and no unexpected outages were incurred during the process.

    Previous Description (July 10, 2026 15:12):

    Sunday, July 12 at 11am, Hosting will be performing an emergency reboot of the Azure Local Virtualization Hosts. Although not expected, this could impact some locally hosted virtual machines/services. We will do our best to maintain all services during this window, however there may be some interruptions to some services.

    The IT Support Centre will be closed on Sunday, however, you can submit a ticket at https://www.queensu.ca/its/home/need-it-help and the support team will be monitoring for any related issues.
