Recommended Action:
This virus has been around for sometime, but we have seen an increase in the number of systems being infected in the last several days.
It is crucial that all users apply Windows Updates when available. Most systems we see are lacking several updates. A number of infected computers have older Symantec products installed. All members of the Queen's community can install Symantec Endpoint via IDA download manager. IDA can be downloaded from http://www.queensu.ca/its/software/ida.html
To check your update status, run Windows Update from your Start Menu. It may take several checks to ensure all updates are installed.
