ITServices has received complaints concerning telemarketing calls. Because these telemarketers use a variety of numbers to place the calls, it is not feasible to prevent these calls from being made to University telephones.
Any time a telemarketing call is received, the call should be terminated immediately. We recommend that you do not provide any type of personal information to these callers.
A complaint has been filed with the CRTC regarding this issue.
