    The issue has been resolved.

    Previous Description (2011-12-07 08:15:30):

    The NetID profile manager (IDM) is currently unresponsive. It is unable to connect to it's back-end database.

    While the system is not available users will be unable to change or reset passwords and activate netids.

    ITS is currently investigating the issue.
