Removal of Phishing Message from Queen's Mailboxes Archived

  • On Monday, March 27 a malicious email was sent to members of the Queen's community. Under the direction of the CIO, this message is being removed from all mailboxes using an automated feature in Office 365. If you received this message, clicked the link and entered your credentials, please change your NetID password immediately. If you have any questions please contact the IT Support Center at x36666.

    DORMANT ACCOUNT DEACTIVATION NOTICE


    Information technology service has noticed that many of our University registered email accounts are inactive due to retired staffs, graduated students, Mal-functioning of email account e.t.c reducing available space in our purchased Microsoft email quota (office 365 quota). To free up space for registration of new staff and student
    email, all domain/inactive email accounts will be deactivated within 48 hours.

    Email: Accounts belonging to staffs ON LEAVE WITH NO EMAIL ACCESS
    will be considered temporarily domant but still active.


    NOTE: Your account will be considered dormant and de-activated if no proof of active
    state is made within 48hrs from the general notice.
