You have been directed here as IT Services determined that a recent message you received, included a malicious link that was clicked on.
To ensure your account remains secure, IT Services sent you an email, requesting that you immediately change your password and to visit this posted notification for additional information.
This notification is meant to reassure you that the notification email you received is legitimate and that you do need to change your password. If your password is not changed by the date indicated in the email, IT Services will be expiring your password to force a password change.
NetID passwords are changed at https://netid.queensu.ca/selfservice/login/auth
We also encourage you to also take the following actions to better protect yourself and your information:
• Do not reuse passwords across your accounts.
• If you have used your Queen’s password on multiple sites, we strongly encourage you to change that password on every other site where it has been used.
• Keep your Operating systems and applications up to date
**In Windows 10**, you decide when and how to get the latest updates to keep your device running smoothly and securely. To manage your options and to see available updates select the Start Windows logo Start button, and type Settings. Launch the Settings app and select Update & Security and then select Windows Update.
