Beginning Wednesday November 20, 2024, Queen's Staff members with exemptions from Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) protection will be required to authenticate with Multifactor Authentication (MFA) to Microsoft 365 and PeopleSoft every 12 hours. As well, at any time, if a sign-on appears suspicious, MFA will be required for exempted users. This security control is meant to compensate for the bypassing of secure device requirements provided by MDE.
