The particular access port that was the source of the traffic has been identified and blocked. Department's ITAdmin rep. has been notified and is working on final resolution. The rest of the building has been brought back on-line.

Core network problems have been traced to a particular building. The interface to this building has been shutdown to allow the rest of the network to return to normal performance. ITS will be continuing to work on this building network to identify the root cause.

Description of Problem:
Reports of intermittent or no connection to the core network from people in Queen's Centre, School of Kinesiology and Richardson Labs.
