On Friday August 5th at about 4 PM, some users reported that Ida (ITServices Desktop Assistant) would not launch and/or the following error message was received:
"ITServices Desktop Assistant has encountered a problem and needs to close."
The problem has been traced to a corrupted data file. The file was replaced on the Ida server at 5 PM. However, if you experience the failure then Ida cannot launch to repair itself and you need to run the repair tool available here:
