The backlog of mail has been delivered. Some users may still be receiving mail from last night as external mail servers have a delay retrying to send.

This issue affected mail destined for any @queensu.ca or @*.queensu.ca email that uses the barracuda spam filter.

Mail from off campus could be delayed until later today. Internal email was not affected.

ITS found an issue this morning with our spam filters which was causing external mail not being delivered from 4:30pm July 9, 2015 until 9:00am July 10, 2015. Departments running their own mail systems that send email to gwmail.queensu.ca will also have experienced this problem.

ITS now has mail flowing again and is working with our vendor to repair the problem appliance. More information will be available later.
