On the morning of Wednesday May 4th, the Active Directory Domain Controller, Spring.AD.queensu.ca will be upgraded and reconfigured. The IP address of the server will be changing:

Current IP: 130.15.242.56
New IP: 10.20.30.58

Any systems that are using Spring for DNS or AD authentication should test their systems and update them as needed.

Alternate AD/DNS servers ITS recommends (as they are already upgraded) are:
Summer.AD.queensu.ca:130.15.242.57
Qu-ad01-prd.AD.queensu.ca: 10.28.30.57

The system will be unavailable starting at 4am and work will be completed by 7am. ITS will update this notice the day before the upgrade and when the upgrade is complete. Any questions regarding this change, please contact the IT Support center.
