The database maintenance was completed successfully. An issue caused service outages to last 10 minutes longer than the 6:00am - 7:00am window, however all applications should now be running and accessible.

Planned Maintenance - Multiple Service Outage

On Tuesday, August 16th from 6:00am to 7:00am ITS will be performing maintenance on the SQL database servers. This maintenance is to migrate the SQL system databases to new hardware for better performance and reliability. Multiple application databases will be inaccessible during this time as the SQL service needs to be stopped for this maintenance.

Services that will be down:

- ADFS (Office 365 Login)
- Careers (careers.queensu.ca login)
- Department of Education WebTimeOff (Replicon)
- Ensemble streaming service (stream.queensu.ca)
- EnCampus
- Footprints (iTrack)
- ImageNow application
- ITS WebTimeOff (Replicon)
- Romeo researcher portal
- Topaz Elements
- VCentre
- VMWare View

An hour has been provisioned for this maintenance though the migration may be completed sooner. This notification will be updated when all services are back online and accessible.
