ITS has scheduled upgrades to the internal network links between one of our commercial internet providers and the campus core network. The outage to one of our internet links has been planned for Sunday October 23rd at 8:00am, when there is a very small amount of traffic. Our other commercial internet connection has extra capacity to handle peak usage during this time of year.
The internet link will be re-enabled at Sunday October 23rd at 9:30am.
Most users will be unaffected when the link is down as connections will retry and use the other internet link, but there may be a small blip. If you do notice something, try reloading the webpage or restarting a file copy and it should work. If you still have issues please contact the IT Support Centre at x36666.
