The core network upgrade is beginning.

During the upgrade period (from 8pm on Saturday, July 29 to 6am on Sunday, July 30) there will be limited or no network access on wireless and wired networks throughout the majority of campus. This will result in devices being unable to access Internet resources as well as local network resources.

The following buildings are exceptional and will only receive short outages occasionally during the upgrade period:

- Duncan McArthur Hall
- Donald Gordon Centre
- Richardson Stadium
- Goodes Hall
- Stauffer Library
- Mackintosh Corry Hall
- Botterell Hall
- All Queen's Residence buildings

Any building not listed above can expect extended downtime.

Payment terminals NOT expected to be affected by the outage include:

- Advancement Call Centre
- Queen's Centre
- Parking garages
- West Campus including Donald Gordon Centre
- Victoria Hall, Waldren Tower, Smith House , Watts Hall, Haynes Hall and Bagot St.
