Please note that this afternoon's security update to WebPublish has been postponed, due to a delay in receiving the solution from the vendor (Drupal). ITS has now received the solution and will be working to implement it as soon as possible, though this could be as late as tomorrow morning. In the meantime, keep in mind that when the update is implemented, you may experience a brief outage of the WebPublish authoring and live environments.

Note that for security reasons, until the security update is complete, access to the WebPublish authoring environment is now restricted to on-campus users only.

Any off-campus access to the authoring environment will only be available through the Queen's Virtual Private Network (VPN):

On Thursday, March 28, between 2:00 and 4:30 pm, ITS will be deploying a critical security update to the WebPublish authoring and live environments. During this window, a brief 2-3 minute service disruption is possible, and so ITS advises users against working within the WebPublish authoring environment during this time to avoid any potential data loss.

This notification will be updated once the security maintenance is complete.
