IT Services are actively investigating Queen's wireless network issues with with poor internet speeds when connected to QueensU-Secure and/or Eduroam.
Currently users are having success in switching their wireless connection from QueensU-Secure to Eduroam and vice-versa from Eduroam to Queensu-Secure. Other users are having success by restarting their device and rejoining the wireless network.
When logging into Eduroam, you will connect with the username of your NetID@queensu.ca as opposed to just your NetID.
If you experience this issue, we would like to hear from you after you make the above changes. Please report the issue by submitting an online "Get IT Help" Ticket as found on the ITS homepage. When creating your ticket, please include the location and type of device you are using.
