LibreChat Scheduled Maintenance: New Features

  • Please be advised that the LibreChat service (librechat.queensu.ca) is scheduled for an upgrade on January 29th, 2026.


    Maintenance Window
    Time: Thursday, January 29th, 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM
    Impact: Access may be temporarily interrupted during this one-hour window.


    What’s New?
    While the core "Look and Feel" of the service remains the same, this upgrade introduces several powerful capabilities:
    New GPT-5.1 Models: We are introducing three advanced models to handle your most complex tasks:
    1 GPT-5.1: Our new flagship high-reasoning agent.
    2 GPT-5.1-Chat: Optimized for fluid, natural dialogue.
    3 GPT-5.1-Codex: Enhanced for programming and technical workflows.
    Agent Sharing: You can now collaborate more effectively by sharing custom-built AI agents with other users.
    Memory Feature: Enable persistent context so the AI can remember key details across your different conversations for a more personalized experience.


    Once the maintenance is complete, you can find and toggle these new features within your user interface. No existing data or chat history will be affected by this update.
