Microsoft Defender wrongly flags DigiCert certs as Trojan:Win32/Cerdigent.A!dha
IT Services is aware that a number of devices are reporting this morning that a virus has been detected.
If you have a notification that your computer is infected with Trojan:Win32/Cerdigent.A!dha, you may have outdated Defender definitions.
To force an update and to run another scan, you can manually force an update by going into Windows Security > Virus and threat protection > Protection updates and clicking on Check for Updates.
