Microsoft Office 365 Login Problem Resolved Archived

  • Office 365 has a 15 minute inactivity timeout. If the session is inactive for 15 minutes the user has to log in again. This week, some users have reported the re-login fails. A temporary workaround was to clear the browser's cookies. Microsoft has now identified the root problem and recommended a server end solution. ITServices is implementing the recommended change now.

    The change should not disrupt active Office 365 sessions. The effect will be that re-logins stop failing.
