Notification: Microsoft Ending Support of Older Versions of Internet Explorer on January 12, 2016 Archived
If you are a Windows user that has not yet updated to Internet Explorer (IE) 11, the following notification applies.

Only the most recent version of Internet Explorer available for a supported operating system will receive technical support and security updates after January 12, 2016.

The January 12 update for IE8/IE9/IE10 on Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 includes a new “end of support” notification feature. This update will automatically open a new tab every 72 hours with the appropriate Internet Explorer download page for the user’s operating system.

Note: Security updates for expiring versions of Internet Explorer will still be offered one last time during the “Patch Tuesday” security update release on January 12, 2016. This release will be the last time security updates will be offered for expiring versions of Internet Explorer as part of standard support.

Upgrade to IE 11 by visiting Microsoft's download site: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/internet-explorer/download-ie.
