Removal of Phishing Message from Queen's Mailboxes - 180326 Archived
On Monday, March 26th, a malicious email was sent to members of the Queen's community. In keeping with the Electronic Information Security Policy, this message is being removed from all mailboxes using an automated feature in Office 365.

Please delete the message manually from your mailbox if you have received a copy.

If you are not using an Office 365 mailbox or forward your mail outside of Office 365, ITS is not able to automatically remove the malicious message.

If you received this message, clicked the link and entered your credentials, please securely change your NetID password immediately.

Outbound mail for your account was blocked by Microsoft due to high volumes of spam.

The following actions have been performed:

All Queens web applications

-Disabled inbox rules
-Disabled auto-reply
-Disabled signature
-Disabled forwarding

Help Desk agents are authorized to unsuspend the account before the block is removed by Microsoft.
Until the block is removed, unsuspended accounts will be able to login and use Queens portal; however, sent messages will fail with a Non-Delivery Receipt (NDR).
All messages that failed to send during the block will need to be re-sent after the block is removed.
