Mail sending issues occurred on Monday, March 26th between the hours of 5pm and 11:10pm.
The outage caused all email sent from non-queensu.ca email addresses to an on campus queensu.ca email address to bounce. Each sender of a bounced email should have received a notification indicating that the email they attempted to send had failed.
ITServices apologizes for the inconvenience and is working to ensure email interruptions are minimized.
Queen's experiences some email delivery problems overnight due to a hardware misconfiguration. The problem has been addressed and service should be returned.
