*Update*

The widespread wireless issues seen over the last two weeks have now been resolved. ITS has worked to change configurations and upgrade some components in our wireless system to handle peak periods. There is now a record number of devices attached to the wireless network and our monitoring shows that the service is supporting even the heavy class change over times without delay.

Any further issues with wireless service should be reported to the IT Support Centre.

*Update*

The wireless upgrade this morning was successful however it did not resolve the issue.

ITServices staff are going to perform an emergency upgrade to a later version of software that should help access issues.

ITServices Staff will be making upgrades to the wireless network on Friday Sept. 25 from 0600h to 0645h. These upgrades are necessary to address the wireless issues seen earlier this week. A campus wide outage of the wireless network is not anticipated, but may be required during the listed time frame.
