On Wednesday July 13th, from 4am - 7am, the Active Directory Domain Controller, Winter.AD.queensu.ca will be unavailable due to a planned hardware upgrade. Winter provides authentication and DNS services to windows servers and PCs on campus, however there are 3 other servers that can be used while the system is down:

Alternate AD/DNS servers are:
Summer.AD.queensu.ca:130.15.242.57
Qu-ad01-prd.AD.queensu.ca: 10.28.30.57
Spring.AD.queensu.ca: 10.20.30.58

ITS will update this notice the day before the upgrade and when the upgrade is complete. Any questions regarding this change, please contact the IT Support Center.
