The temporary UPS is now installed and serving the data cente. Power has been restored and services that were shutdown are being brought up.

The power work is still in progress and the outage window has been extended to provide time to complete the work. A fail back plan has been establish with a commitment to have services power restored to the data centre by 5:30am

Power work in the Dupuis data centre has begun.

Access to some departmental services in our virtual hosted environment lost network access when temporary power was cut over. Network switches have been rebooted and access has been restored.

The Dupuis data centre will undergo emergency power work this evening (Jan 18), starting at 11pm. We do not anticipate any service interruption to core services such as network, wireless, email, Peoplesoft, ONQ, main web, WebPublish and virtual hosted servers.

Services affected will be:
• PCI/DFM/Medical Hosting
• Physical hosted customers
• Some development, preview and test environments
• Non-critical and dual servers
• Backups will be suspended
•
