Single Sign-On (SSO) Planned Maintenance Archived
On the morning of Wednesday, February 22nd, 2017, Queen's University ITS will be updating our production Single Sign-On (SSO) service (login page for SOLUS, onQ, Peoplesoft, etc.) to the latest software version.

For Queen's Students/Staff/Faculty:
This should mainly be a cosmetic change, with a slight update to the look and feel of the login and logout pages. Terms of Use agreements for accessing 3rd party sites will now prompt users for consent on a per-site basis, whereas in the past users were only prompted to accept the agreement once for all sites.

For Queen's SSO protected site owners:
You should update your configuration to use the latest version of our Identity Providers metadata (https://login.queensu.ca/metadata.xml), in order to provide the smoothest possible user experience.
Your site(s) will continue to function, however it is possible that the logout page could falsely indicate failed logouts until your configuration is updated.

If you encounter any issues, or have any questions, please contact the IT Support Centre at 613.533.6666 or fill out the Online Help Form (http://www.queensu.ca/its/helpform), and indicate that the issue should be assigned to the Queen's University ITS Middleware team.
