Streaming Service - High Usage Update Archived

The Queen's Streaming Service has been upgraded to address long delays experienced in processing the upload of videos.


Users now have the ability to upload new videos. If you have any videos that were uploaded prior to 7:30 am on September19th, that are falsely reporting as “Processing”, please delete the video and upload again.

Due to increased usage of the Queen’s Streaming service, please note that the processing time for uploading videos is continuing to take longer than usual. This does not affect the playback of videos for students but it may result in additional time between uploading the video and the video showing up in your video library. We appreciate your patience as we look for options to improve upon the service.


This does not have an impact to students who are viewing published videos.


ITS Services are addressing the delay by increasing existing capacity to the extent available and working with Ensemble to look at additional options to increase speed and performance.


As more information is available we will update this notification.
