Authentication is Failing for onQ, Office 365 and ServiceNow Update Archived

  • ITS is receiving numerous reports that the authentication services are now restored for the affected services of onQ, Office 365, Teams, Zoom, and ServiceNow.

    Microsoft took some measures to remediate the problem but continues to investigate the root cause. ITS will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as necessary.

    Previous Description (September 28, 2020 18:18):

    Faculty, staff and students are experiencing authentication problems with onQ, Office 365 and ServiceNow. All 3 services authenticate against Microsoft's Azure Active Directory.

    Users with an active sessions should not log out. Microsoft has acknowledge the problem and are currently reverting a recent change to correct the problem.

    This notification will be updated as more information is available.
