Upcoming Teams Telephony Service Maintenance – SIP Phones

  • On Monday, January 5, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM, IT Services will be upgrading Microsoft Teams SIP phones (Yealink) to the latest firmware to improve call stability and reliability, particularly for phones used in call queues and common areas.

    During the update, each SIP phone will reboot once and will be unavailable for approximately five minutes. Microsoft Teams desktop and mobile clients will not be affected. No action is required from users, as phones will automatically reconnect once the update is complete.
