  • We’re thrilled to announce a game-changing update: Queen’s now offers secure passwordless sign-in for key web applications like M365, PeopleSoft, and OnQ through the Microsoft Authenticator App! This isn’t just an upgrade—it’s a major leap toward making your daily work experience faster, safer, and more convenient!

    • Enhanced Security: Forget the hassle of passwords. By using your phone as the key, passwordless sign-in makes it much harder for hackers to gain access—keeping your data and Queen’s systems even safer.

    • Ultimate Convenience: No more juggling complex passwords! Just a few taps on your smartphone, and you’re signed in—quick, easy, and frustration-free.

    • Boosted Productivity: Faster sign-ins mean more time spent on important tasks and less time trying to remember or reset your passwords.


    Here’s how to get started:


    Many of you may have already completed most of these steps, but just in case:



    1. Install the Microsoft Authenticator App on your smartphone.

    2. Set up Microsoft Authenticator as one of your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) options (we recommend making it your default method for both ease of use, and the additional security it offers).

    3. Click on, and open your Queen’s account in the Microsoft Authenticator app, and then click on "Enable Phone sign-in".

    4. The next time you log in, take note of the “Sign-in through an App” option that now exists below your username.
