Service Outage: 911 Calling from Teams and SIP Handsets Update Archived

  • The previously reported upstream issue impacting outbound 911 calls has been resolved. This incident may have caused outbound 911 calls to fail to reach the service provider from approximately 9:40 AM to 12:30 PM eastern time today.

    Should you experience any issues with placing 911 calls from Teams or SIP handsets please contact the IT Support Centre.

    Previous Description (June 24, 2026 11:39):

    Please be advised that our upstream 911 emergency call service provider is presently experiencing an outage that may result in call failures for clients placing outbound 911 calls from Teams or SIP Handsets. The vendor is aware of the incident and working to restore service as soon as possible.

    We recommend placing 911 calls via mobile phone where possible until the issue is resolved.
